UX Designer - accessibility review (Cincinnati, OH)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Fox Insurance and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around catastrophe response that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in catastrophe response. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
