UX Designer - accessibility review (Cincinnati, OH)

Highbridge Forge Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Cincinnati, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around service alerts that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in service alerts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
