UX Designer - accessibility review (Chicago, IL)

Rivermark North Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Chicago, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around loan applications that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in loan applications. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
