UX Designer - accessibility review (Charlotte, NC)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Fern Arts Center Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around event logistics that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in event logistics. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
