UX Designer - accessibility review (Charlotte, NC)

Westbrook Early Learning Group runs childcare centres in Charlotte caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in meal programmes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
