UX Designer - accessibility review (Charlotte, NC)

Silverline Fox Press is a printer and publisher in Charlotte serving local and national clients, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around bindery work that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in bindery work. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
