UX Designer - accessibility review (Charleston, SC)

We are growing our team at Silverline Haven Financial and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around regulatory reports that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in regulatory reports. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
