UX Designer - accessibility review (Charleston, SC)

Foxglove Haven Markets is a Charleston retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around promotions that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in promotions. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
