UX Designer - accessibility review (Charleston, SC)

We are growing our team at Cedar Willow Medical Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around regulatory submissions that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
