UX Designer - accessibility review (Charleston, SC)

Fernwood Pine Financial Group serves customers across Charleston with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around account servicing that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in account servicing. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
