UX Designer - accessibility review (Buffalo, NY)

Ironwood Quarry Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Buffalo, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around account openings that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in account openings. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
