UX Designer - accessibility review (Buffalo, NY)

Highbridge Willow Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Buffalo, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around training materials that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in training materials. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
