UX Designer - accessibility review (Buffalo, NY)

Fernwood Ridge Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Buffalo. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in attendance records. • Experience running usability tests.
