UX Designer - accessibility review (Buffalo, NY)

Clearpath North Early Learning runs childcare centres in Buffalo caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in family communication. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
