UX Designer - accessibility review (Boston, MA)

Bluepeak Fern Transit Planning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for accessibility audits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people based in Boston. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
