UX Designer - accessibility review (Boston, MA)

Amberfield Ember Financial is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for loan applications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 445 people based in Boston. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around loan applications that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in loan applications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
