UX Designer - accessibility review (Boston, MA)

Northwind Junction Markets Group serves neighbourhoods around Boston with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around pricing that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in pricing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
