UX Designer - accessibility review (Boston, MA)

Ironwood Summit Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Boston. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of about 471 people based in Boston. What you will do • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in family communication. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
