UX Designer - accessibility review (Boston, MA)

We are growing our team at Nova Vista Financial and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in payment disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
