UX Designer - accessibility review (Birmingham, AL)

Stonegate Vale Pharma develops and makes medicines in Birmingham. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of about 512 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Design for tasks around quality documentation that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in quality documentation. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
