UX Designer - accessibility review (Birmingham, AL)

Nova Haven Pharma supports drug development and manufacturing around Birmingham. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. Quality is everyone's job here, not a department. What you will do • Design for tasks around release testing that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in release testing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
