UX Designer - accessibility review (Birmingham, AL)

Greenridge Thistle Pharma supports drug development and manufacturing around Birmingham, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around quality documentation that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in quality documentation. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
