UX Designer - accessibility review (Baltimore, MD)

Bluepeak Thistle Learning Group Partners runs classrooms and tutoring across the Baltimore area. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around learning materials that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in learning materials. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
