UX Designer - accessibility review (Baltimore, MD)

Summit Lakeside Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Baltimore serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of about 815 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Design for tasks around card disputes that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in card disputes. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
