UX Designer - accessibility review (Baltimore, MD)

Cedar Timber Insurance is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for customer complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 843 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in customer complaints.
