UX Designer - accessibility review (Baltimore, MD)

Foxglove Beacon Press is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around customer orders that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in customer orders. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
