UX Designer - accessibility review (Baltimore, MD)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Vale Medical and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 121 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around regulatory submissions that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
