UX Designer - accessibility review (Baltimore, MD)

Summit Lakeside Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Baltimore presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in visitor services. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
