UX Designer - accessibility review (Austin, TX)

Rivermark Maple Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Austin. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around payment disputes that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in payment disputes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
