UX Designer - accessibility review (Austin, TX)

Foxglove Wilder Medical is a Austin company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around training materials that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in training materials. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Austin. • We reply to every applicant.
