UX Designer - accessibility review (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Northwind Summit Insurance and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people based in Austin. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in catastrophe response. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Austin. • We reply to every applicant.
