UX Designer - accessibility review (Atlanta, GA)

Greenridge Corner Insurance is an insurance company in Atlanta with claims and service teams, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around claims that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
