UX Designer - accessibility review (Atlanta, GA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Technologies and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of about 353 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around volunteer shifts that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
