UX Designer - accessibility review (Anchorage, AK)

Redstone Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Anchorage. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around deposit accounts that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in deposit accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
