UX Designer - accessibility review (Anchorage, AK)

Ironwood Drift Health provides primary and specialty care in Anchorage, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around patient education that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in patient education. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
