UX Designer - accessibility review (Anchorage, AK)

Lumen Sable Markets serves neighbourhoods around Anchorage with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around promotions that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in promotions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
