UX Designer - accessibility review (Anchorage, AK)

Nova Corner Medical Group designs and makes medical devices in Anchorage, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in production lots. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
