UX Designer - accessibility review (Albuquerque, NM)

Northwind Corner Insurance Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for premium billing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Albuquerque. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around premium billing that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in premium billing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Albuquerque. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
