UX Designer - accessibility review (Albuquerque, NM)

Cedar Nest Early Learning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for meal programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 397 people based in Albuquerque. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around meal programmes that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in meal programmes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
