Survey Equipment Associate - stockroom (Virginia Beach, VA)

Greenridge Mill Transit Planning plans roads, transit and cycling routes for coastal Virginia, and our surveyors work from a stockroom full of traffic counters, cones, signs and survey poles. We are hiring a part-time associate to keep it in order. What you will do • Check equipment out to survey crews in the morning and back in at the end of the day. • Test, charge and repair traffic counters and batteries between jobs. • Keep an accurate inventory and flag items that need replacing before a big project starts. What we are looking for • Some experience in a stockroom, warehouse or equipment-rental setting. • Careful with detail and comfortable lifting 40 pounds. About 20 hours a week, on site in Virginia Beach, mostly early mornings.
