Supply Chain Analyst - supplier performance (Virginia Beach, VA)

Ironwood Bridge Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Virginia Beach. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on supplier performance. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Build reports on loads and lanes that planners can act on. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
