Supply Chain Analyst - supplier performance (San Jose, CA)

Ironwood Junction Water Authority is a public water utility serving the San Jose area, and we need a Supply Chain Analyst to lead our supplier performance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Build reports on meter reading that planners can act on. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Knowledge of meter reading. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
