Supply Chain Analyst - supplier performance (Reno, NV)

Summit Meridian Freight is a Reno logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on supplier performance. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on proof of delivery that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
