Supply Chain Analyst - supplier performance (remote)

Fernwood Basin Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Des Moines. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on supplier performance. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Build reports on ingredient orders that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Knowledge of ingredient orders. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
