Supply Chain Analyst - supplier performance (Jackson, MS)

Cedar Vale Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Jackson. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on supplier performance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on meter reading that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of meter reading. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
