Supply Chain Analyst - supplier performance (Detroit, MI)

Amberfield Mill Energy Group supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Detroit. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on supplier performance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on usage data that planners can act on. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Knowledge of usage data. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
