Supply Chain Analyst - supplier performance (Birmingham, AL)

Fernwood Keystone Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Birmingham. We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to take on supplier performance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build reports on loads and lanes that planners can act on. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
