Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Virginia Beach, VA)

Nova Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Virginia Beach, and we need a Supply Chain Analyst to lead our logistics cost analysis. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Build reports on carrier rates that planners can act on. • Support annual contract and network reviews. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
