Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Ashton Freight and adding a Supply Chain Analyst whose main responsibility will be logistics cost analysis. We reward reliability. What you will do • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Build reports on customer tracking that planners can act on. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of customer tracking. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
