Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Virginia Beach, VA)

Bluepeak Umber Foods is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on logistics cost analysis for production batches, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build reports on production batches that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of production batches. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
